Visa

Passengers must obtain relevant entry visa and passport must be more than 6 months validity (estimate: equal or more than 186 days ) from the date of travel.

International passports are required for travel between Singapore and Bintan Indonesia.

Indonesia maintains varying visa requirements for different countries, so it is advisable to consult your travel agent or the respective Indonesian embassy in your country for visa inquiries.

Baggage Information

Passengers are required to check-in their baggage at least 30 minutes before departure.
Baggage allowance is accorded per person.

Baggage is separately checked in at baggage counters:
- Singapore Cruise Center (SCC) is the baggage handling agent at Singapore Tanah Merah;
- Bintan Resort Cakrawala (BRC) is the baggage handling agent at Bintan Bandar Bentan Telani.

Allowance is per boarding pass.
Golf bags must be checked in and count as personal baggage.
Check-in must be completed at least 30 minutes before departure.

Excess and special items
Excess baggage (over free allowance, up to 40 kg per passenger):
Fee: SGD 1.00 per kg or part thereof (approximately USD 1 per kg)

Bicycle:
Fee: SGD 15 per item per way (approximately USD 11)

Odd-sized items (such as surfboards, wakeboards, bicycles; items longer than 1.5 m; items larger than 100 × 62 × 30 cm; or items posing a safety risk if carried on board):
Fee: SGD 15 per item per way, up to 30 kg (approximately USD 11)

  • Surfboards, wake boards , bicycle;
  • Long items that exceeds 1.5m in length
  • Large item that exceeds the dimensions of 100cm x 62cm x 30cm
  • Item that posses a safety hazard if hand-carried.

SBS No. 35 ply from either Bedok Bus Interchange or bus stop in front of Tanah Merah MRT Station to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

The taxi ride from the airport to the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal typically takes about 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Please allocate approximately about 30-45 minutes for immigration and security clearance as well as baggage collection at the airport.
