A2 TICKETS LTD (trading as “Lyria”)
A company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16987046)
Website: https://www.lyriaa.com
Last updated: 4 April 2026
This website https://www.lyriaa.com and any associated mobile applications (together, the “Platform”) is operated by A2 TICKETS LTD (trading as “Lyria”), a company registered in the United Kingdom (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Platform and the services offered by A2 TICKETS LTD or third-party transportation operators (“Carriers”) through the Platform (the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Platform or purchasing tickets through our Services, you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. “You” and “your” includes:
Any person who accesses the Platform;
Any person on whose behalf you make a purchase; and
All passengers included in any booking.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
A2 TICKETS LTD acts solely as a disclosed booking agent and intermediary on behalf of Carriers. We facilitate bookings and the collection of payment; we do not operate ferries or other transport services and we are not the Carrier. The contract for the transportation service (the carriage) is between you and the Carrier, on the Carrier’s applicable terms and conditions of carriage and fare rules (“Carrier Terms”). Carrier Terms may be made available via the Platform, your confirmation, links provided before purchase, and/or the Carrier’s own channels.
To secure tickets, Lyria may place orders through independent B2B booking channels (commercial distribution, aggregation, or connectivity platforms) that we use from time to time and may change as our supply arrangements evolve. We may use one or more such channels in parallel. Use of a channel does not create a contract between you and that channel, and does not change the fact that your carriage remains with the Carrier, subject to Carrier Terms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to make Lyria the Carrier or to transfer the Carrier’s operational liabilities for the actual transport service to Lyria.
Lyria facilitates the booking of single-element passenger transport tickets only. We do not sell, organise, or facilitate:
package holidays or package travel (as defined by the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (SI 2018/634));
linked travel arrangements;
combined travel services comprising transport together with accommodation, car hire, or other tourist services; or
any combination of travel services that would constitute a “package” under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 or the EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302).
The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 and the EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302) do not apply to bookings made through our Platform. Nothing on the Platform should be interpreted as an offer to sell package travel.
A2 TICKETS LTD reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove any part of these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the last revision at the top of this page. Where a change is material (for example, affecting your rights to cancel, refund, or the price you pay), we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email before the changes take effect. In exceptional circumstances where advance notice is not possible (for example, to comply with a legal requirement), we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue using the Platform and Services immediately.
It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms to stay informed of any updates. We recommend checking this page regularly for any changes.
Certain Services may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be displayed at the time of booking. Such additional terms are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, A2 TICKETS LTD provides a platform that enables you to:
Search for ferry routes and other transportation options;
Compare prices and schedules from various Carriers;
Book and purchase tickets for transportation services;
Receive electronic tickets and booking confirmations via email;
Access customer support for booking-related inquiries.
We strive to ensure the Platform is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Platform for business or operational reasons. Such suspension or restriction does not affect any rights you have in respect of bookings already confirmed and paid for, and does not exclude or limit any liability we may have to you under applicable law.
A2 TICKETS LTD may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. Where such changes materially affect your confirmed bookings, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance. This does not affect your rights in relation to bookings already confirmed and paid for.
The transportation services displayed on our Platform are provided by independent Carriers. We do not own, operate, or control any ferries, vessels, or other transportation vehicles. The Carriers are solely responsible for providing the actual transportation services.
Lyria operates exclusively via a secure Guest Checkout system. You are not required to create or maintain a user account to use our Services. All bookings are placed by providing your details at checkout, and all confirmations, tickets, and communications are delivered to the email address you provide during the booking process.
You are responsible for:
Providing a valid and accessible email address at the time of booking;
Ensuring all passenger and contact details are accurate;
Retaining your booking confirmation email and reference number for check-in and any future correspondence.
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings where we have reasonable grounds to believe that a booking involves fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, or a material violation of these Terms. We will provide notice where reasonably practicable to do so.
When you make a booking through our Platform:
You must provide accurate passenger information as required by the Carrier;
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation;
A binding contract is formed upon receipt of your booking confirmation (subject to successful payment as required). The contract for carriage is between you and the Carrier on the Carrier Terms, as described in section 1.4;
You will receive an electronic ticket or voucher via email.
By clicking the “Pay” or “Complete Booking” button (or similar) at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to (i) these Terms, (ii) the applicable Carrier’s cancellation and fare rules as displayed during the booking process, and (iii) the non-refundable nature of the Lyria Agency Fee as described in section 7.7. This confirmation constitutes your electronic acceptance of these Terms for the purposes of the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002.
Before you complete payment, the price presented on the Platform will clearly show the Carrier Fare (the amount referable to the transportation service under the Carrier’s fare rules) and the Lyria Agency Fee (the “booking fee” shown at checkout—our non-refundable fee for agency and facilitation services, as further described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy). Together with any mandatory charges itemised at checkout (for example port taxes, fuel surcharges, or vehicle-specific fees), these make up the Total Price payable for your booking.
Additional fees, such as port taxes, fuel surcharges, or vehicle-specific fees, may apply and will be clearly indicated before you complete your payment;
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking using the available payment methods displayed on the Platform;
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other digital payment methods as indicated during the checkout process;
You authorise Lyria to collect the Total Price from you as disclosed booking agent for the Carrier (in respect of the Carrier Fare and any charges collected on the Carrier’s behalf as shown at checkout) and for Lyria in respect of the Lyria Agency Fee. Card payments are processed by our Payment Service Provider (“PSP”) as identified at checkout. The PSP is responsible for processing your payment in line with its terms and applicable law. Lyria does not receive or store your full card number on its own servers; payment fields are provided in line with the PSP’s secure checkout. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us at support@lyriaa.com before disputing the charge with your bank so that we can investigate and assist you. All payments are processed in the currency displayed at checkout.
All payment transactions are processed by our PSP, which maintains PCI-DSS compliance to ensure the security of your payment data. A2 TICKETS LTD does not directly collect, store, or process full payment card numbers on its own systems;
Where Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) applies under applicable law (including the UK Payment Services Regulations 2017, as amended) and card scheme rules, our PSP will apply authentication measures (which may include 3D Secure 2.0 or equivalent) when required. Some transactions may be exempted or processed with reduced authentication where permitted by law or the PSP’s risk assessment; in those cases, different liability rules may apply under card network rules. You agree to complete any authentication step presented to you during checkout;
Tax treatment of your payment depends on the nature of the components of the Total Price and applicable law; where taxes are shown at checkout, they are shown as required at the point of sale;
For any questions regarding your travel booking, payments, or ferry services, please contact our support team at support@lyriaa.com.
Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email with your electronic ticket;
Please verify all details on your confirmation immediately and notify us of any errors;
Your booking reference number is required for check-in and boarding.
Upon successful payment confirmation from our PSP, you will receive an immediate order confirmation email acknowledging your purchase and confirming that your tickets are being processed. Lyria will issue and deliver your electronic tickets to the email address provided at checkout. In the majority of cases, tickets are delivered within minutes of payment confirmation. In exceptional circumstances — for example, where manual verification with the Carrier is required — delivery may take up to 12 hours. If you do not receive your tickets within 12 hours of your payment confirmation email, you must contact support@lyriaa.com before taking any further action, including initiating a payment dispute.
You are responsible for ensuring all passenger names and details match valid identification documents.
Incorrect information may result in denied boarding. Refunds are not provided under the Carrier’s fare rules in such circumstances.
Any changes to passenger information may be subject to fees from the Carrier.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all necessary travel documents (passports, visas, ID cards) required for your journey;
Requirements vary by route and nationality; check with relevant authorities before travel;
We are not liable for any issues arising from inadequate travel documentation.
5.6.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase through the Platform. By completing a booking, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. A2 TICKETS LTD reserves the right to cancel any booking and withhold a refund where it reasonably believes the purchaser does not meet this age requirement.
5.6.2 Child Passenger Tickets
Tickets for passengers classified as children under the applicable Carrier’s fare rules (“Child Tickets”) are available for purchase only as part of a booking that includes at least one adult passenger aged 18 or over. Child Tickets cannot be purchased independently or as a standalone booking. The age threshold for Child Tickets is determined by the relevant Carrier and will be displayed during the booking process.
By purchasing a Child Ticket, the purchasing adult confirms that:
(a) they are the parent, legal guardian, or authorised supervising adult of the child passenger;
(b) they accept full responsibility for the child passenger during the journey; and
(c) the child passenger will be accompanied by at least one adult passenger from the same booking for the entire duration of travel.
5.6.3 Age Categories and Carrier Policies
Age categories for child fares (including any applicable discounts, free travel thresholds, or infant policies) are determined by the relevant Carrier and may vary by route. The applicable age categories and any requirements will be displayed during the booking process. It is your responsibility to select the correct passenger age category; incorrect information may result in denied boarding or additional charges imposed by the Carrier.
5.6.4 Proof of Age
The Carrier may require proof of age for any child passenger at check-in or boarding. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence of age when requested may result in denied boarding without entitlement to a refund.
If you make a booking on behalf of another person, or if the cardholder is different from the passenger(s):
(a) the person completing the booking and providing payment (“Booking Party”) is deemed to have accepted these Terms on behalf of all passengers in the booking and is solely responsible for the transaction, including all charges and any chargeback or payment dispute;
(b) the Booking Party warrants that they have the authority to book on behalf of each passenger, have informed each passenger of these Terms and the applicable Carrier Terms, and have obtained any required consent;
(c) the Booking Party is liable for the accuracy of all passenger information provided and for ensuring each passenger complies with the Carrier’s conditions of carriage;
(d) if a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated in respect of a third-party booking, the Booking Party acknowledges that we may provide evidence of the Booking Party’s agreement to these Terms and proof of ticket delivery in response to such dispute.
Electronic tickets (e-tickets) are sent to the email address provided during booking;
You must present your e-ticket (printed or on a mobile device) at check-in;
E-tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated;
Some Carriers provide electronic tickets in the form of a boarding pass, which serves as valid travel documentation and allows direct boarding without additional exchange;
Some tickets must be exchanged for a boarding pass before boarding. In such cases, specific requirements and instructions will be clearly provided before you complete your purchase.
You must arrive at the departure terminal with sufficient time before departure;
Check-in deadlines vary by Carrier and route; refer to your booking confirmation;
Late arrival may result in denied boarding without refund.
Tickets are valid only for the date, time, and route specified;
Tickets are personal and non-transferable;
Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.
For ferry bookings including vehicles:
You must provide accurate vehicle dimensions and type;
Incorrect vehicle information may result in additional charges or denied boarding;
Vehicle fees are determined by the Carrier based on size and type.
Cancellation policies vary by Carrier and ticket type. Refunds of the Carrier Fare are governed primarily by the Carrier’s fare rules and Carrier Terms. Lyria will facilitate cancellation requests and process refunds where the Carrier confirms entitlement and operational processes allow.
Cancellation terms will be clearly displayed before you complete your booking;
To request a cancellation, contact us at support@lyriaa.com;
Refund amounts are determined in accordance with the Carrier’s fare rules. Where a refund of the Carrier Fare is due and authorised by the Carrier, we will process it via our PSP to the original payment method where reasonably practicable.
If a refund is due under the applicable Carrier’s fare rules, Lyria will initiate the refund via our PSP within 14 business days of approval (subject to Carrier confirmation and banking/PSP processing times). Where a dispute arises as to refund eligibility, Lyria will cooperate with you, the Carrier, and (where relevant) our PSP in line with these Terms and applicable law.
Some tickets are sold as non-refundable or non-changeable. These restrictions will be clearly indicated at the time of booking. For non-refundable tickets:
No refund will be provided for cancellations;
Changes may not be permitted or may incur fees.
Please note: Lyria facilitates the booking of single-element passenger transport tickets only, as described in section 1.5. Package travel legislation does not apply to bookings made through our Platform.
Modification requests are subject to Carrier policies and availability;
Changes may incur administrative fees plus any fare difference;
Some ticket types do not permit changes.
If a Carrier cancels your booked service:
We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable;
You will be offered an alternative sailing or a full refund of the Carrier Fare in accordance with the Carrier’s policy;
We are not liable for additional expenses incurred due to Carrier cancellations.
We reserve the right to cancel any booking:
If we suspect fraudulent activity;
If payment is not successfully processed;
Due to errors in pricing or availability information.
In such cases, a full refund will be provided in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Approved refunds are submitted to our PSP for processing within 14 business days of approval;
Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout, via our PSP, where reasonably practicable;
Actual crediting times depend on your payment provider and may vary.
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer, the rules of your card network and our PSP may apply. We may submit evidence of your agreement to these Terms, checkout disclosures (including Carrier Fare vs Lyria Agency Fee), and ticket delivery. Refunds of the Carrier Fare remain subject to Carrier authorisation and fare rules as described in sections 7.1 and 7.6. Nothing in this section obliges a Carrier to approve a refund where its fare rules do not permit one.
The Lyria Agency Fee (shown at checkout as the “booking fee”) is our non-refundable fee for booking agency services and Platform facilitation. It is charged to cover operational costs associated with providing our platform, including payment processing, reservation management, customer support, and system maintenance. The Lyria Agency Fee remains non-refundable in the event of a customer-initiated cancellation, “no-show,” or incorrect travel documentation, except in the circumstances listed below and as further described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The Lyria Agency Fee will be refunded only in the following circumstances:
The cancellation is due to an error on our part;
The Carrier cancels the service and no suitable alternative accepted by you is available;
We are unable to issue a valid ticket for your booking.
For the avoidance of doubt: if you cancel your booking for any personal reason, even if the Carrier Fare itself is refundable under the Carrier’s policy, our Lyria Agency Fee will not be refunded except where an exception above applies.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to contact us at support@lyriaa.com about any payment or delivery concern before disputing the charge with your bank. We deliver electronic tickets within 12 hours of payment; if you have not received your ticket after that time, please contact us first. We (and, where applicable, our PSP) may respond to chargebacks by providing evidence of your agreement to these Terms and proof of ticket delivery.

To fulfill your booking, we share necessary passenger information with the relevant Carriers. This is essential for the provision of transportation services.
By making a booking, you agree to receive:
Booking confirmations and updates;
Important travel information and alerts;
Service-related notifications.
We use cookies to enhance your experience on our Platform. Detailed information on how we use cookies can be found in our Cookie Policy.
The Platform and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, except where such warranties cannot be excluded under applicable law (including, for UK consumers, the rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that services be performed with reasonable care and skill).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose;
Non-infringement;
Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information;
Uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
We do not warrant the accuracy of information provided by Carriers or other third parties displayed on the Platform.
We make no warranties regarding the quality, safety, or reliability of transportation services provided by Carriers.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, A2 TICKETS LTD, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities;
Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform;
Damages arising from or connected with actual transportation services, port operations, weather, industrial action, or any act or omission of a Carrier or other third party (including delays, cancellations, accidents, injuries, or losses during travel).
Subject to section 14.6, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or in connection with our booking facilitation and these Terms (excluding claims relating to carriage, which must be directed to the Carrier under section 14.3) shall not exceed the Total Price paid by you for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
Any claims related to the transportation services (including delays, cancellations, personal injury, or loss of baggage) must be directed to the relevant Carrier in accordance with their conditions of carriage.
As your disclosed booking agent, A2 TICKETS LTD is responsible for:
The accuracy of information we provide about tickets and services at the time of booking (subject to information supplied by Carriers and B2B channels);
Processing your booking correctly and issuing valid tickets in accordance with Carrier confirmation;
Providing customer support for booking facilitation issues;
Processing refunds of amounts we have collected in accordance with these Terms, Carrier authorisation, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
A2 TICKETS LTD is not liable for:
The provision or quality of transportation services by the Carrier;
Delays, cancellations, or schedule changes made by the Carrier;
Actions or omissions of the Carrier, its employees, or agents;
Conditions at ports, terminals, or on board vessels;
Any loss of Lyria Agency Fee resulting from a customer’s decision to cancel or change a booking, except as stated in these Terms or the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Booking facilitation (Lyria): To the fullest extent permitted by law, A2 TICKETS LTD shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our booking facilitation obligations where caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”), including but not limited to: adverse weather, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, acts of terrorism, war or armed conflict, government orders or travel restrictions, port closures, strikes or industrial action, civil unrest, or widespread technical or infrastructure failures affecting our Platform, systems, suppliers, or connectivity.
Carriage (Carrier): If a Carrier cancels, delays, or changes a sailing due to a Force Majeure Event or other operational reasons, your rights (including any refund of the Carrier Fare) are governed by the Carrier Terms and applicable law. Carriers remain responsible for the transportation service under their own conditions of carriage and any applicable international conventions or local law. Nothing in this section is intended to override or limit any non-excludable rights you may have against a Carrier.
If the Carrier cancels the service entirely and no alternative accepted by you is available, section 7.7 and our Refund & Cancellation Policy apply to the Lyria Agency Fee as stated there. Lyria will use reasonable efforts to relay information we receive from Carriers or B2B booking channels, but is not liable for the timeliness or accuracy of information supplied by third parties during disruptive events.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (see section 14.6).
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, including (where you are a consumer) your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to services supplied by Lyria as part of booking facilitation (where those rights apply).
You agree to compensate A2 TICKETS LTD for any reasonably foreseeable losses we incur as a direct result of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of any third party’s rights, provided that this does not apply to losses arising from your ordinary and lawful use of the Platform. This clause does not affect any rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other mandatory consumer protection law.
We will notify you promptly of any such claim and work with you in good faith to resolve it.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by A2 TICKETS LTD.
Links to third-party websites do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by us of those websites or their content.
We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You access third-party websites at your own risk.
Some Carriers may have their own websites with additional information or services. Your use of such websites is subject to their terms and conditions.
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance before your journey, including coverage for:
Trip cancellation or interruption;
Medical emergencies;
Lost or delayed baggage;
Personal liability.
A2 TICKETS LTD does not provide travel insurance. Any insurance products offered through the Platform are provided by third-party insurers and subject to their terms.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance coverage for your travel needs.
You must ensure that you and all passengers in your booking are fit to travel. Some Carriers may have restrictions for:
Pregnant passengers (especially in late pregnancy);
Passengers with certain medical conditions;

For complaints related to the transportation service itself (such as onboard issues, delays, or service quality), please contact the Carrier directly. We can provide assistance in facilitating communication where possible.
We aim to acknowledge all inquiries and complaints within 12 working hours during our Operating Hours and provide a full resolution within a reasonable timeframe.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms. Subject to mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence, this jurisdiction clause applies as permitted by law.
If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect any statutory rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract under applicable law.
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom:
You have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other legislation;
These Terms do not affect those statutory rights;
For advice about your legal rights, contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers may have a 14-day right to cancel certain distance contracts. However, in accordance with Regulation 27(2)(c), the right to cancel does not apply to contracts for passenger transport services. All ferry and transportation tickets purchased through our Platform are contracts for passenger transport services and are therefore exempt from this right.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), including a 14-day right of withdrawal from certain distance contracts.
Important Exception: In accordance with Article 3(3)(k) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the Directive does not apply to contracts for passenger transport services. All ferry and transportation tickets purchased through our Platform are contracts for passenger transport services and are therefore exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. By completing a booking on our Platform, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:
Your purchase is a contract for passenger transport services;
Contracts for passenger transport services are excluded from the scope of the EU Consumer Rights Directive under Article 3(3)(k);
You do not have a 14-day right of withdrawal for your ticket purchase;
Any cancellation or refund is subject to the cancellation policy applicable to your specific ticket, as displayed at the time of booking.
If you are a consumer in the United States, you may have rights under applicable federal and state consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the Federal Trade Commission Act and state-level consumer protection statutes. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you have under such laws that cannot be waived or limited by contract. To the extent that any provision of these Terms conflicts with mandatory protections under the laws of your state of residence, the mandatory protections shall prevail. For California residents: our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information as required under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and A2 TICKETS LTD regarding your use of the Platform.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms to another entity, provided that such assignment does not reduce the guarantees or rights available to you under these Terms or applicable law.
