Bangsal Port
Bangsal Port is located on the northwest coast of Lombok, in the Pemenang area of North Lombok Regency. It serves as a key departure/arrival point for boat transfers to Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air, as well as fast boat routes to Padangbai (Bali).
Bangsal Port is a simple port, primarily serving as a transfer hub for travelers heading to the Gili Islands and Bali. There are only a few small local food stalls offering snacks and drinks, and while some refreshments are available on-site, the selection is limited, so it’s recommended to bring water and something to eat if you expect to wait before departure. Mornings are generally the best time to travel, as sea conditions tend to be calmer and temperatures more comfortable.
How to Reach Bangsal Port
Bangsal Port is located about 25 minutes from Senggigi and roughly 2 hours from Kuta Lombok, depending on traffic conditions. The most convenient way to reach the port is by private transfer, especially if you are traveling with luggage or prefer a comfortable, direct journey.
From Kuta Lombok, hiring a private car is the most reliable option, offering a smooth ride directly to the port.
If you’re in Senggigi, taxis are also available, but private drivers are still the most reliable.
Shared shuttle vans also operate from both Kuta and Senggigi, but departure times can be less consistent and may require waiting for other passengers before departure.
