At A2 TICKETS LTD (trading as “Lyria”), we act as a ticket retailer and intermediary between you and various transportation carriers (“Carriers”). This policy outlines the procedures for cancellations, changes, and refunds for bookings made through our Platform.

1.2 Binding Carrier Policies

As a ticket retailer, we are strictly bound by the cancellation and refund policies of the respective Carriers. The specific refundability of your ticket is determined by the fare type selected at the time of booking and the Carrier’s specific terms.

1.3 Statutory Exception

In accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Article 16(l) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to passenger transport services provided for a specific date or period of performance.


2. Cancellation and Refund Process

2.1 Initiating a Request

To request a cancellation or refund, you must contact our support team at support@lyriaa.com. Please provide your booking reference number and the details of the passengers.

2.2 Refund Eligibility

  • Flexible Fares: Generally refundable, subject to specific Carrier cancellation fees.

  • Economy/Promo Fares: Often sold as non-refundable or non-changeable.

  • No-Shows: If you fail to check in or board on time, the ticket is typically 100% non-refundable.

2.3 Refund Processing

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed back to the original payment method. We act solely as an intermediary in processing these funds; the actual refund amount is calculated by the Carrier.


3. Service Fees

3.1 Non-Refundable Nature

Our service fee is the charge for our booking and administrative services. This fee is non-refundable if the cancellation is initiated by the customer for personal reasons, regardless of whether the ticket fare itself is refundable.

3.2 Exceptions for Service Fee Refunds

The service fee will be refunded only if:

  • The cancellation is due to an error on our part;

  • The Carrier cancels the service and does not provide an alternative;

  • We are unable to issue a valid ticket for your booking.


4. Changes and Modifications

4.1 Modification Requests

Requests to change dates, routes, or passenger details are subject to Carrier policies and availability.

4.2 Costs of Modification

Changes may incur:

  • Administrative fees from the Carrier;

  • Any difference in the fare price;

  • An additional service fee from A2 TICKETS LTD for processing the change.


5. Cancellations by Carrier or the Company

5.1 Carrier Cancellations

If a Carrier cancels your service, you will be offered an alternative sailing or a full refund of the ticket fare in accordance with the Carrier’s policy.

5.2 Company Cancellations

A2 TICKETS LTD reserves the right to cancel any booking due to suspected fraudulent activity, pricing errors, or failure of payment processing. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.


6. Payment Processing and Chargebacks

6.1 Merchant of Record

Our order process and refunds are conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders.

6.2 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days. Please note that bank processing times may vary and are outside our control.

6.3 Unauthorized Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback using this policy and your booking confirmation as evidence of your agreement to these terms.
