Gili Air Port

Gili Air Port (Gili Air Harbour) is a simple beach landing area rather than a conventional harbor, serving as the main arrival point for fast boats from Bali and as a local transfer point from Gili Air to Lombok and the other Gili Islands, including Gili Trawangan and Gili Meno.

Because Gili Air lacks a true deep-water harbor, fast boats generally anchor offshore, although some use a small jetty when conditions allow, and passengers may still need to step through shallow water to reach the beach.

There is no official terminal building, only simple shaded waiting areas near the jetty, with cafés and restaurants located within easy walking distance.

How to Reach Gili Air Port

The port is located on the central part of the island’s south coast, just east of the main inland crossroad. It is easily accessible from anywhere on the island, and most accommodations are within a short walking or cycling distance along sandy paths.

Gili Air has no motorized transport, meaning there are no taxis or shuttle services available. Instead, getting around is done by walking, cycling, or using traditional horse-drawn carts (cidomos) for longer distances or luggage.
